Lawrence A. Sheets, age 84, Wednesday, September 7 at Mount Carmel East Hospital surrounded by his family.
Born in Plain City, Oh. The third son of Forrest and Madge Sheets.
Served in the US Army 1952 -1954 in Alaska.
Employed by the Franklin County Engineering Department for 15 years and builder of many projects throughout Central Ohio.
Resident of Grove City, Oh for many years, most recently of Baltimore, Ohio.
Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Betty and children Larry (Vicky), Jerry, David (Cindy), Kathy (Tim) Robinson of Texas, Rob (Toni) and Barb (Matt) Maddy.
He was the Grandpa extraordinaire and will be greatly missed by grandchildren, Michael, Amy, Sarah, Randy, Sam, Zach, Ashley, Cayla and Hunter. Great-grandchildren, Austin, Aiden, Hunter, Mikey, Kiley, Alexis, Alyissa, Alex, Hadley Jo, Maddyn and Camden.
Visitation Monday, September 12 from 4 pm - 6 pm Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
Memorial Service immediately following visitation at 6 pm.
Private burial at Galloway Cemetery.
Friends and family may contribute to Mount Carmel Hospice.
