Lawrence Wright passed January 28, 2014.
He was born May 28, 1954 to Clara Rowe and James Wright.
His late stepfather, Rev. Willie adopted him as his own son. He raised him and taught him about Jesus Christ at an early age. He was 7 years old when he quoted the 66 Books of the Bible. Through his life journey he loved football, basketball and was also a Michigan fan.
He was a hard worker and had his own cleaning business.
He loved his family mother, Clara Mae Rowe of Columbus; brothers, Larry Wright, John (Trina) Herring, Anthony Herring all of Columbus and Willie (Janice) Herring of Birmingham, AL; sisters, devoted sister Evangelist Yvonne Johns of Columbus, Joanne (Terry) Lomax and Nina Fuller of Birmingham, AL and Donna Herring of Columbus; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and friends.
He was proceeded in death by Rev. Willie Herring, Hubert Williams and Ulyseess Cowan.
Funeral service will be Friday, February 7, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Union Tabernacle Church, 1345 Atcheson St. Columbus, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church.
Interment will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.
