Lee A. Durham, 67, of Grove City passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 with his loving wife of 44 years and family at his side. Lee was born November 20, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to Robert and Thelma (Bentley) Durham. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Lee is survived by his wife, Deborah (Dolby) Durham; sons, Jack Durham, Dave (Kim) Mahaney; daughter, Lori (John) Bailey; grandchildren, Emilee and Corey Bailey, Nick and Drew Mahaney and Collin Durham; sister, Mary (Bob) Sweazey; brother, Robert (Joyce) Durham; brother-in-law, William (Kris) Dolby; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Richard) Copas, Suzy Sherrick as well as many nieces and nephews. Lee had special friends at the Jolly Pirate Donut shop as well as Rodney Evans, Joe Hackworth, Jim Lanning, Jim Kuno and Rob Williams.
Lee loved his children and grandchildren and his loss will be deeply felt by everyone who knew him.
Lee worked at GM for 30 years where he retired in 2007. After retirement he worked for the City of Dublin as seasonal maintenance.
In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association 1100 Dennison Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4 pm-6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City 43123 with a funeral service to start immediately after.
