December 9, 1931 — May 12, 2014

Lee Kelser, 82, of Columbus, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

He was born December 9, 1931 in Buffalo, NY, son of the late Mildred Amlin.

In addition to his mother, Lee was preceded in death by his sister, Kay Amlin.

He retired from the Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 4. Lee was a member of Maize Manor U.M.C., Ohio National Guard, American Legion Post # 457, lifetime member of N.R.A. and Ohio Gun Collector's Association.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Lois Carlock Kelser; son, Tom (Connie) Kelser; daughter, Debbie (Darnell Beasley) Kelser; granddaughters, Amanda and Mindy Kelser; great grandson, Jameson Hannan.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Maize Manor U.M.C., 3901 Maize Rd. Columbus.

Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ohio Warrior Scholarship Fund through the Columbus Foundation, 1234 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43205.
