Lee Edward Taylor, III

Lee E. Taylor III, age 72, Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Preceded in death by wife, Teresa Taylor; parents, Lee and Carrie Taylor; brothers, Gregory and Don Taylor. Survived by daughters, Lisa Taylor and Carrie (Jacob) Schooley; sister, Barb (Steve) Heddleson; grandchildren, Frannie Taylor, Rashawn Sankey Jr., and Jadan Sankey Sr. (Savanna); and great grandson, Jadan Jr.; and nieces, nephews and many close friends. Lee worked for the City of Columbus until retirement. He was a loving Father, Papa, Brother, and friend. We would also like to send a special thank you to Ohio Health Hospice | Compassus where Lee was comforted in home during his final days.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 5 to 7pm, Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions - Southwest, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Cremation to occur at a later date. The Newcomer family is honored to serve the Taylor and Schooley families.
