Lena Hamman, 91, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in Columbus, OH. Lena was born on January 18, 1927 in Glouster, OH to the late Earl and Helen (McCartney) Hogsett.
In addition to her parents, Lena is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hamman; brothers, Carl and James Hogsett.
She is survived by her sister, Thelma (Jack) Greene; nephew, Craig (Lynn) Matson; great-niece, Shannon Matson.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Chapel, 5600 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213. Newcomer Columbus NE Chapel is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lena's honor to Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center, 4340 Tamarack Blvd., Columbus, OH 43229.
