Leona Belle Eversole

Leona “Belle” Eversole, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Belle was born to the late Gilbert and Cynthia (Casto) Champer. She was the third of seven children. Belle was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished friend whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her.

Belle shared 72 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Bobby, building a life centered on love, family, and faithfulness. Together they created a legacy that will continue for generations.

She was the proud mother of Pam (Chuck) Kerns and Bev (Gary) Nelson. Belle’s greatest joy was her family, and she treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren: James (Danielle) Myers, Candy (Gary) Robinette, Crystal Nelson, Shawn Nelson, and Robin (Jarren) Weppler. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren Haley, Braden, Joshua, Mackenzie, Elijah, Theodore, and Barrett who brought endless happiness to her life.

Belle was an amazing mom and grandma whose home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. She had a gentle spirit, a caring heart, and a way of making everyone feel welcome and special. She hosted family lunch every Sunday with her infamous spaghetti , followed by friendly games of dominos and boggle.

She was also a proud retiree of the Gahanna Jefferson School District, where she dedicated many years of hard work and service.

Belle will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on through the family she adored and the countless lives she touched. Her family finds comfort in knowing that love like Belle’s never fades.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 12:00pm-2:00pm at the Gahanna Moose Family Center at 335 W Johnstown Rd Gahanna, OH 43230.
