Leona L. Clifford, 74, Columbus, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Leona was born in Hopkins, MN, to Eddie and Leila (Nieskens) Osborne on April 29, 1940, and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael Clifford; son, Rick Clifford; sisters, Jeanette Andrews and Diane Carroll.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (Roger) Ellis; sons, Michael Clifford, Brian (Jeannie) Clifford, Patrick (Michelle Jackson) Clifford; sister, Shirley Woltz; brothers, Maynard (Fanny) Osborne and Ronnie (Debbie) Osborne; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Leona worked for Nationwide Insurance for many years.
Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (Roger) Ellis; sons, Michael Clifford, Brian (Jeannie) Clifford, Patrick (Michelle Jackson) Clifford; sister, Shirley Woltz; brothers, Maynard (Fanny) Osborne and Ronnie (Debbie) Osborne; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
