Leonard Leroy Miller

Leonard Leroy Miller, Sr, 85, of Arcadia, FL and Columbus, OH, went to be with the Lord and Savior on May 4th, 2017.
He was born on December 18, 1931 in Toledo, OH to the late Arthur J and Vera Miller. On November 27, 1952, he married the love of his life, Betty C. Miller of Newark, Ohio. Leonard served in the Army and worked in construction as a construction superintendent for Big Bear for many years. Although he retired from Ingersoll Rand, Leonard continued to work on various projects for others.
Leonard was a devoted servant to all. He worked in disaster relief with the Red Cross and was a spiritual leader in Awana Club at the First Baptist Church of Fort Ogden, where he and Betty were members.
Leonard is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Betty Miller (2016); survived by their children, Vicki (Don) Bundy of Punta Gorda, FL, Rhonda (Tim) Serrott of Lantana, FL and Leonard (Kimberly) Jr. of Lewis Center, OH; nine grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in Florida and Ohio.
Florida friends are invited to gather on Monday, May 8, 2017, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with a service to start at 11:00 AM, at First Baptist Church of Fort Ogden, 9500 SW Hull Ave, Arcadia, FL 34265.
Ohio friends are invited to gather on Friday, May 12, 2017, from 12:30 PM – 1:15 PM, with a service to start at 1:15 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, Northeast Chapel, 3047 E Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231.
Burial to follow at Barnes Cemetery.
