Leroy O'Bryan, 81, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Leroy was born in Mayhan, WV on July 14, 1935, to the late Leaner Franklin and Dolly Marie (Vealey) O'Bryan and is also preceded in death by a son, Leroy O'Bryan Jr.; sisters, Jeanette Osborne and Nellie Cales.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Alice (Calley) O'Bryan; 2 daughters; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren; 2sisters and 3 brothers.
Leroy was a hard worker, outgoing and loved life. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 21, 2017, 2-5 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017, 11 AM at Northlawn Memory Gardens, 7060 St Rt 3, Westerville, OH 43082.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Alice (Calley) O'Bryan; 2 daughters; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren; 2sisters and 3 brothers.
