Lillian Ruby Cherryhomes
August 14, 1917 — July 21, 2018
Lillian Ruby Cherryhomes, 100, went home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2018.
She was preceded in death by parents, Francis Leroy and Lydia Olive Bougher; husband, Earl Lewis Cherryhomes; and son, Earl Leroy Cherryhomes.
Ruby is survived by sister, Ruth Carmedy; daughter-in-law, Carol Larimer Cherryhomes; grandchildren, Andy (Michelle) Cherryhomes and Amy (Tracy) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Matthew (Megan) Thompson, Abby Thompson, Jacob Breakey, Anna, Grace, and Sarah Cherryhomes; great-great-grandson on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
Ruby was a member of Thurman Avenue UMC. She retired from the City of Columbus Income Tax Division where she worked for Hugh Dorrian for many years. Ruby was an avid bowler, enjoyed camping, and spending time with family.
Visitation Friday, July 27, 2018 from 10:30am until the time of Funeral Service at 12pm at Trinity Family Life Center, 6389 Blacklick Eastern Rd., Pickerington, OH 43147. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thurman Avenue UMC.
