Lillian Henderson, was born June 30, 1942 in Sardis, Alabama. She attended Emanuel Brown Training School.
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the New Bethany Baptist Church. There she was active in various auxiliaries, such as the missions, matrons, usher board and the choir. It is also where she married Emanuel Henderson, from this union Gerald V. Henderson and LaMona U. Henderson were born.
Lillian is preceded in death by parents, Johnny and Corene Wilson Sr.; father, Johnnie L. White Sr. She is survived by siblings, Etta M. Safford, Johnny (Lula) Wilson Jr. (deceased), Perry L. Wilson, Lee A. (Elaine) Wilson, Annie P. (James) Wilson, Roberta Wilson (deceased), Delores Wilson-Harrison, Lawrence (Emma) Wilson, Allen J. Wilson, Elnora White-Taylor, Constance Green, Arlene Chambers, Johnnie White Jr. (deceased), Valeria (David) White-Roberts, Ceolia White, David White and a host of nieces and nephews. Lillian was loved by many.
She enjoyed life to the fullest. Her last days were in Columbus, OH surrounded by family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 from 12 - 1 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 where funeral service will he held immediately following at 1:00 p.m.
Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery (New).
