Lillian Marie Hill

Lillian "Marie" (Butler) Hill was born on February 10, 1928 in Columbus, OH to Joseph Butler and Alice (Iverson) Steptoe and she departed this life after 87 years on June 23, 2015. Lillian "Marie" was a graduate of East High School, Columbus, OH and a member of Parsons Avenue Church of God, 3389 Parsons Ave., Columbus, OH, Pastor Brice Utt. She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service and later worked for Mt. Carmel East Hospital.

She leaves behind three children, Joseph C. Toone, Norma Jean (Toone) Collins, and William H. (Tina) Hill Jr. She was a grandmother to three, Rosettie Cumberland, William H. Hill III and Darrien L. Hill. Great-grandmother to three, Xavier and Xaniyah Cumberland and Skylar Hill. Prior to her homegoing she told her family she loved them and she was happy, happy, happy to be going home. She will be deeply missed by her family, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12-2pm, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 2pm. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
