Linda Kay Bernthold

Linda Kay (Maier) Bernthold, age 71, passed away in her home on May 3, 2020. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 28, 1948 to the late Hazel Mae and Joseph Anton Maier. Linda was the youngest of 14 children.

We didn't have time to prepare for our 'Maw' to be taken away from us so soon. Our hearts are broken that we had to let go of a beautiful soul. She was very loveable, huggable and always seeing the better side of people. She loved ALL animals, watching old movies, reading, doing her crosswords, playing candy crush as well as online trivia (because she was very intelligent), and being around family. She was at her happiest when she was surrounded by her family, especially her children, BUT, her grandchildren and great grandchildren are what sparked her life, she would just sit back and watch them play and these were the moments her smile was the brightest. But, what gave her purpose in her last years were her doggies, Lovey and Sofie, they were everything to her.

We will miss her especially her beautiful eyes that were as blue as the sky and her smile that would light up the darkness.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Carla (David) Dingess, Joseph (Barbara) Seymour II, Paula (Hershel) Wilks, Larry (Tina) Seymour, Linda Seymour; grandchildren, Amber (Derrick), Justin, Rian (Nessa), Holly (Tim), Camren (Ann), Gregory, Krysti, Kylie, David, Jennifer, Dillon, Linda (Bruno), Alysa, Alexys, Heather, Jeffery, Shawn, Nicole, Nicholas, Saraya (Ryan), Kayla, Aaliyah, Neenah, Danykah, Brycelyn; many beloved great-grandchildren, extended family and special friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her infant son, Gregory Seymour and grandson Luke Seymour

We love you mom 'maw' and we pray for your peaceful journey home. Please watch over us and give us the strength to continue on without you until we meet again.
