Linda D. Burris

Linda D Burris age 77, Born November 14, 1948, Columbus Ohio to James and Esther (Lovsey) Barrowman went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2026 at Traditions Senior Living of Grove City. Linda was the oldest of 5 children. She attended Marion Frankiln High School and graduated in 1966. She also attended Ohio Bible College and Columbus State Community College. Linda worked at DFAS Whitehall Ohio in Accounting from 1984 until she retired in 2011. She attended Calvary Apostolic Church in her early years and Grove City Apostolic Church. Linda had been the wife of a retired Navy Corpsman and lived in several states including Virginia, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Indiana and Ohio.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents James and Esther Barrowman, John Burris, Brother and Sister-in-Law David and Patricia Burris, Brother-in-Law Jack Ward and infant Great-Grandson Rowan Lucas.

Linda is survived by her siblings Michael (Carla) Blimes, Debbie (Wayne) Chickering, Penny Ward, Brenda (Donald) Kissler and Sister-in-Law Terri (Ed) Podschweit.

Linda was a great mom to her surviving children. Patricia (Alan) Russell, Deanna (Johnny) Jones, Aaron Burris (Sherri Natario), Kimberly (Somchai) Hampton.

There were 12 grandchildren that Linda cherished in her life. Bradley (Jeff), Brandon (Allison), Ryan, Kaity, Orlando, Matthew, Heather (Wesley), Hannah (Tyler), Barbara, Samantha, Jessica and Isaiah.

Linda loved her 6 Great Grand Children, Chase, Rayne, Devyn, Eleanor and Saylor and her beloved dog Buttercup.

Linda also leaves behind many other dear family members and friends.

Linda had a passion for travel and particularly loved to travel to the UK, Europe and Isreal. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, singing, hair bows and plants.

Arrangements are being handled by Newcomer Funeral Home Grove City. There will be a graveside service on May 26, 2026 at 11 am at the Grove City Cemetery West. Officiating will be Rev. Tyler Gaiters.
