Linda V. Campanizzi

Linda V. Campanizzi, 75, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio after a lengthy illness. She was born on March 16, 1950, in Wheeling, West Virginia.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles (Teddy) and Maria P. Campanizzi, of Flushing, Ohio and her sister-in-law, Jana Campanizzi of St. Clairsville, Ohio.

She is survived by her brother, Louis Campanizzi, of St. Clairsville, Ohio and her longtime significant other who she shared her life with, Charles Francis, of Hilliard, Ohio. 

She worked for over 30 years at the Ohio Department of Health, working for the Hearing Aid Board and Nurse Aide Registry before retiring in 2000.

Linda graduated from Flushing High School in 1968 and then moved to Columbus, Ohio.

She was a lifelong lover of cats and shared her life with three feline companions.

Linda's spirit will live in the hearts of all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

To honor Linda's life, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio from 11am- 1pm.
