Linda Karen Willmon
August 30, 1942 — September 25, 2016
Linda Willmon, age 74, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at home.
Employed as an LPN for 15 years before returning to school to pursue her RN license, for a total employment time of 25 years at Doctors North Hospital of Columbus.
She was a charter member of Parsons Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Linda was a Girl Scout troop leader and an emergency foster parent for over 30 children.
She was a two-time cancer survivor, former owner of K.C. Leather & Books and other gift items.
Surviving family includes husband, Carl Willmon Jr.; daughter, Theresa (Mike) Webb; son, Carl D. Willmon III; grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer, Jordan, Maddison; 5 great-grandchildren; friends, Julia (Randy) Smith and Carolyn Mullins; also survived by many other family and friends.
Preceded in death by parents, Buck and Pluma Webb; two brothers, Bill and Paul; two sisters, Joyce and Maxine.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2:00 - 5:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
Funeral service will be at 1:00PM, Monday, October 3, 2016 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery.
