Linda R. Mohler

Linda Roth Mohler, age 82 of Grove City Ohio, formerly of North Canton Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday May 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of family. Born on January 24, 1944, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Paul & Alma Roth.

Linda was the wife to Bill for 61 years; Sister to Paul Jr. (Phyllis) Roth, Joe (Carole) Roth and John (Nancy) Roth; Mother to Lori, William (deceased), Amy (David) Lauerhass, and David (deceased). Linda was the grandmother to Brett (Erin fiancée) Lauerhass and Audrey Lauerhass.

Linda attended the Presbyterian School of Nursing, where she received her RN. She worked at Aultman Hospital in the Maternity Ward, and enjoyed her time caring for new babies and teaching new moms. In her early years of nursing, she also enjoyed teaching Lamaze classes.

Linda was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton for over 40 years, where she was a member of the Second Wind & Koinonia Fellowship Groups.

One of Linda’s greatest joys was gardening, and she & Bill took pride in their large gardens in North Canton, as well as their smaller garden in Grove City. She always enjoyed visiting the local conservatory and any nursery.

Linda loved the outdoors, and enjoyed spending time on the beach in Hilton Head, walking in the woods in the Great Smoky Mountains, relaxing in the Florida Keys, and spending time next to the pond at the family cabin.

Travel was a priority for Lin & Bill - they traveled to over 40 countries and went on over 35 cruises. Africa, China, and the Holland Tulip Festival were three of her favorite adventures. Lin’s parents also loved to travel and gifted the extended family more than 20 memorable trips.

Please join the family in celebrating Lin’s life at a memorial service on Sunday May 17th at 3:00 at Newcomer Northwest Chapel at 10051 Brewster Ln, Powell, OH 43065. Reception with light refreshments to follow. Private burial will be on Monday at the Grove City West Cemetery.
