Lloyd "Mick" Eugene Barton Sr.

Lloyd E Barton, born July 31, 1930 in Asheville Ohio went home to Jesus on July 28, 2025. He was a beloved father and grandfather.

Lloyd was proceeded in death by his wife of 66 years Janet June Barton. They had three sons, Gene (Maria) Barton, Randy (Kathy) Barton, Jeff (Tracy) Barton; seven grandkids, including Shelley (Scott) Neaves, Tiffany Barton, Patrick Covell, Stephen (Elizabeth) Barton, Samantha Barton (Austin Wade) , Jessica Barton (Zach Barker), Brooke Barton; six great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Lloyd was affectionally known to many as Mick. He loved hunting and fishing with his boys. He loved to have fun at the casino with his beloved wife, Janet.

He was a PFC in the army during the Korean War as a cook where he then went on to working in a Bakery called OMAR bakery and confectionery for 30 plus years. Upon retirement he served at the Groveport Senior center for many years helping seniors. He also helped buy and distribute the toys for Columbus city school district Christmas shops for many years. Mick had a giving heart and he was beloved by everyone who knew him.

Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 10:30am until time of funeral at 12:30pm. Interment to follow at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield, Ohio. Pastor Dale George officiating.
