Lloyd William Snyder

Lloyd William Snyder, 87 of Grove City, passed away after a courageous battle with melanoma at his residence on July 19, 2013. Born on January 10, 1926 to the late Roy and Mary (Vince) Snyder in Bainbridge, Ohio. Lloyd retired after 30 years from White Westing House and attended the Pleasant View Baptist Church. He served during WWII.
Survived by wife of 47 years Maxine (Lucas) Snyder; children Brenda (Michael) Gilbert, Charles T. (Mary Jane Cooper) Maddox and Linda (Carl Robert II) Howes; grandchildren Christopher, Brittany, Carl Robert III (Nadine), Charles (Teresa) and Adam (Daiquri); great grandchildren Henry, Charlotte, Christopher, Logan, Lucas, Alex and Ada; brother Audie Snyder.
Preceded in death by first wife Helen; brother Raymond Yocum.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm.
Funeral service at the Pleasant View Baptist Church, 2485 Gantz Rd., Grove City, Ohio at 10am with Rev. Curtis Sheets officiating.
Burial to follow at Bainbridge Cemetery, Bainbridge, Ohio at 1pm.
