Edna Lois Eshenfelder
Edna "Lois" Eshenfelder passed away peacefully on April 8, 2017. She was born on January 24th, 1920, the daughter of Forrest Edwin Baldwin and Mary Evelyn (Yeazel) Baldwin of Springfield in Clark County, Ohio. Lois married Arthur "Emil" Eshenfelder on February 21, 1943 in a ceremony held at the Seneca Hotel in Columbus. Lois and Emil were happily married for 72 years, until Emil's passing in late 2014. They had four children; Thomas Allen, an infant who died at birth, Karen Ann, John Arthur and Kay Lynne. Lois is survived by children Karen (William) Sigg of Blacklick, Ohio; John (Ann) Eshenfelder of Elkhart, Indiana and Kay (Mike) Yavorsky of Sylvania, Ohio, along with 7 grandchildren and currently 11 great-grandchildren. Lois will be remembered as a kind and loving mother and grandmother who always had a smile, a hug and a cheery welcome. She enjoyed gardening, keeping a wonderful home and hosting many, many family get-togethers at the house on South Ardmore Road in Bexley. She was a member of the Bexley Woman's Club and the OSU Mothers Club.
