Lois Virginia Dowdy Rettinger, age 96 of Reynoldsburg, OH. Passed away on January 4, 2018 from a brief illness.
Visitation will be held from 11-12pm, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 12pm. Pastor Ed Linville and Linda Purcell will officiate. There will be no graveside service.
Lois was born in Boone Mill, VA on March 21, 1921. Lois is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Frank Lee Rettinger, and daughter Lora Rettinger Frech. Lois is survived by her son, Jeff (Bonnie) Rettinger, grandchildren, Amie (Daniel) Rettinger Bashur, Holli (Kyle) Rettinger Keller, Nicole Frech, Nicholas Frech, great-grandchildren, Madelynn, Matthew, Audrey, Courtney, Carson, Blake, dear friend, Lois Sasser, niece, Gina (Kevin) Johnson, nephew, Darin (Carolyn) Creger.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the loving nurses and staff with Heartland Hospice of Fayette County and Courthouse Manor.
