Lonnie Muncy, 75, passed away on June 2, 2014 in Columbus, OH surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 25, 1938 in Lovely, KY to Lucian and Laura (Murphy) Muncy.
Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Ola Stepp; siblings, Dorothy, Amos, Reba, Connie, Geneva, Ray, and Christine; and grandson, Brandon Cooper.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann Muncy; children, Connie Muncy, Allan (Robin) Muncy, Janette (Joe) Robison, and Camille (Steve) Stivers; nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.
Lonnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, gardening, and golf. He was a man of God and his family was his pride and joy. Lonnie was an extraordinary man who made the world a better place. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
A visitation for Lonnie will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Parsons Avenue Church of God, 3389 Parsons Ave. Columbus, OH 43207. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 12:00pm also at Parsons Avenue Church of God. He will be laid to rest at Green Lawn Cemetery.
