Loretta Mae Wells

Loretta Mae Wells, 88, passed away April 8, 2025. Born March 8, 1937 to the late Elmer and Gladys Needles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Robert Needles and sister, Nancy Needles. Loretta is survived by children, Edward (Jackie) Brofford, Debbie (JR) Newsome, and Lisa (Roger) Ball; grandchildren, Christy (Tom) Fronza, Cheryl (Grant) Webb, Jennifer (Ryan) Snider, Caleb Ball, Adam Newsome, and Andy Newsome; great-grandchildren, Zach and Ben Fronza, Aubrey and Bryce Webb, Caden Newsome, Mahlon and Noah Jones, and Reggie Snider; and love of her life, Tom Holmes.

Loretta was a member of the 55er Westerville School Group. She worked at Big Bear and Ken's Market in Mt. Vernon before moving to Texas for 20 years. While in Texas, she enjoyed retired life golfing and line dancing. Loretta made many friends during her time in Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Loretta's memory to FAIRHOPE Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, OH 43130.
