Lori Michelle Westerman

Lori Michelle Westerman (Drake), 54, of Columbus, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2026. She was born on August 27, 1971, in Columbus, Ohio to Donald Merle Drake and Carol Anne Drake (Such). Lori worked for 20 years for Verizon Wireless, reaching the position of Assistant Director and was extremely proud of the team that she put together. Lori loved going to Marco Island and spending time on the beach reading a book, long pontoon rides at Indian Lake, spending time with family and friends, loving her dogs and a nice dinner out. She will be remembered most for her kindness towards everyone she met and her love for her family, especially her children. 

Lori is survived by her spouse Matthew Westerman: children Caitlyn Westerman, Drake Westerman and Jack Westerman; and her sister Shelley Leffler (Jason), niece Heidi Brewer, nephew Luke Brewer, niece Kyndall Leffler, niece Madeline Leffler and uncles Charles Such (Diane), Bill Such (Kaye Wilcox) Aunt Joyce Hinton (Larry), cousins and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Don and Carol Drake. 

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center.
