Lowell A. Wood, Sr, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Lowell was born in Ashtabula County on January 29, 1950, to Hobart and Venita (Buchanan) Wood and is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Rella Ann Mossor and Leah Cash; brothers, Barry Wood, Gerald Wood and Earl Barnhart.
Survivors include his sons, Lowell A. (Julie) Wood Jr and Lowell A. (Laura Monette) Wood; daughter, Jessica Wood; brother, Richard (Shirley) Wood; grandchildren, Lowell A., Hayley, Zaira and Shane Wood, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Lowell retired from Securitas after 20 years and enjoyed life with his grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, August 1, 2016, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mid-Ohio Food Bank, 3960 Brookham Drive, Grove City, OH 43123.
