L.V. Carroll Jr.

L.V. Carroll Jr., affectionately known as "Jr," passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on June 16, 1948, in Athens, TN, he was known for his outgoing personality and was a very lovable man, cherished by all who knew him.

Jr served proudly as a Marine veteran, an experience that shaped his character and instilled a deep sense of pride in his service to the country. He had a passion for life and loved spending time with his family, a cornerstone of his existence. Whether it was a family gathering or simply being present, he made sure to create memories that would last a lifetime. In his free moments, he found joy in waxing his trucks, a hobby that reflected his meticulous nature and love for his possessions.

Jr is survived by his loving wife, Helen D. Carroll, beloved Sparkey, and his cherished sisters: Patricia Davis, Lavell (Bob) Mason, Rebecca (Wesley) Shankeland, and Renee Barker. He is preceded in death by his father, Lazell Vaughn Carroll, Sr., mother, Gladys Carroll, and siblings: Ronnie Carroll, Richard Carroll, Regina Hoover, and Debbie.

A viewing will be held on September 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Both events will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway in Grove City, OH, 43123.

Jr’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
