Lyn Marie Mcquiniff

Lyn McQuiniff (Smolinski), age 59, passed away suddenly Sunday, November 13, 2016.
Member of St. Susanna Parish in Mason, OH. Employed by Mason City Schools. 1975 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School and attended The Ohio State University. Lyn will be remembered for her generosity and as a very loving person. She was quick to lend a helping hand to family, friends and strangers alike. Lyn was very active with her husband in supporting the Cincinnati Food Bank, Paint The Town and other charitable activities associated with St. Susanna Parish.
Surviving family includes husband, Jim McQuiniff; children, Jamie (Betsy) McQuiniff, Kelly (Michael) Trickel; grandson, Connor; mother, Charlotte Smolinski (Groves); brother, Robert (Carolyn) Smolinski Jr.; sister, Julie (Robert) Ackerman; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by father, Robert Smolinski. Visitation will be held Friday, November 18, 2016 from 4-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123, where visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association Go Red, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
