Lynette M. Veach, 64, passed away May 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Jane Karnes.
Lyn is survived by son, Chris Veach; daughter, Kelly (Josh) Leonard; grandchildren, Carter and Maryn Leonard; half siblings, Diane Cerutti and Ralph E. Karnes; beloved Boston Terrier, Gabby; as well as many friends.
As a child and teen, Lyn grew up loving dance, cheer, theater and the musical arts. Lyn was a licensed Medical Assistant and Medical Laboratory Technician. Graduated as class valedictorian with honors from Columbus State and co-author of Clinical Medical Assisting: A Professional, Field Smart Approach to the Workplace. She enjoyed reading, singing, arts and crafts, and was an avid handbag collector. The most important hobby she had was spoiling her grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Monday, May 12, 2014 from 4-6pm with a Celebration of her life at 6pm at Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 3005 Holt Rd., Grove City, OH 43123.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lyn's name to your local humane society.
