Mabel Ann Yocum

Mabel Yocum, age 64, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on February 19, 2026. She was born on May 14, 1961, on Mother’s Day.

Mabel was a devoted mother whose life was centered on family. She embraced motherhood with strength, resilience, and unwavering love, and her children and grandchildren remained the heart of her life.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Yocum, and her parents, Harold and Martha Hughes.

Mabel is survived by her children, Charles Winters III, Thomas Winters, Hollie Yocum, and Brandi Craven, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. As well as many other family members and loved ones.

Family will welcome friends and loved ones Monday, March 2, 2026 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm, followed by interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

Mabel will be remembered for her strength, her deep love for her family, and the lasting impact she made on those who knew her.
