Magalene Manning

Magalene Manning, 88, passed away January 27, 2026. Born in Johnson County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Thelma (Castle) Ramey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Manning; son, Robert Manning; daughter, Kimberly Manning; son-in-law, David Cordle; sister, Madge Jean Ramey; and baby brothers, Ernest and Bobby Ramey. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Linda Cordle; grandchildren, Sheila (Chris) Harmon, Richard Thompson Jr., and Kathleen Manning; great-grandchildren, Jeremy Manning and Kaylynn Peterson; sisters, Martha Ramey and Ella Hamilton; brothers, Clarence "Don" (Connie) and Everett Ramey.

Mag retired from Columbus Public Schools as a food service worker after many years. She was a big part of the community at National Church Residences/ Lincoln Village and enjoyed playing BINGO with her friends and attending other events. Above all, Mag nurtured her own family, while extending her loving, grandmotherly warmth to the entire community.

Friends may call Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 11am until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery.
