In Loving Memory of Malachi Aramis Dobbins
Malachi Aramis Dobbins was born on November 1, 2001, in Columbus, Ohio, to Camille Dobbins. He departed this life on June 28, 2026, at the age of 24.
Malachi graduated from South Build Columbus Community School on June 24, 2021, where he studied welding. He later worked in the Transportation Department at Grant Medical Center, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependable nature.
If you knew Malachi, you knew you could count on him. He had a quiet way of showing his love—by simply showing up. Whether someone needed help cutting the grass, cleaning gutters, looking at a car, moving something heavy, or just lending a hand, Malachi was there. He didn't just offer help; he followed through. He was dependable, kind, and the type of young man people knew they could call when they needed someone.
Malachi worked hard and persevered through life's challenges, always striving to build a life he could be proud of. His willingness to help others, his reliability, and his caring heart are the qualities that so many will remember and miss the most. If you asked Malachi for help, chances were he was already on his way.
Malachi leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Camille Dobbins; his sister, Armira Dobbins; his maternal grandparents, Julius and Kimberly Dobbins; his aunts, Victoria Johnson and Susan Dobbins; his uncles, Steven Johnson, Christopher Dobbins, and Gregory Dobbins; his great-uncle, Irvin Johnson; his godmother, Judy Wright; and a host of cousins, extended family members, and close friends.
The family extends a special thank you to the Burns family, who welcomed Malachi into their home for several years. Your kindness, generosity, and love toward him will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
Although Malachi is no longer with us in body, his memory, his generous spirit, and the love he shared will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
“We are here for just a brief moment, but in the moments that we do exist, we have the ability to leave such a lasting impact on others that generations to come will still be affected by what we accomplished if only we allow God to lead us and not us ourselves.”
