Manley C. Prince, age 85 passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Grant Medical Center. He was born in Lawrence county, KY on January 5, 1931 to the late Dewey and Effie Prince.
As a young man, he was a proud member of the U.S Navy and served on the USS Spangler during 1951. Later in life he enjoyed spending time fishing.
He is preceded in death by his children, Johnny and Phyllis Prince.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marjorie; children, Wanda (Eddie) Murphy and William "Bill" Prince; grandchildren, Bruce, Jerome, Sonja and Michael; great-grandson, Jonathon.
Family will receive friends from 12-1 pm, Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home, S.W., 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, where the funeral service will be held immediately following at 1:00 pm. Internment to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Garden.
