Margaret C. Kirk

Pastor Margaret Chambers Kirk of Columbus, OH passed from this life into the loving arms of her Savior on Saturday, December 16, 2017.

She was born on April 8, 1957 in North Wilkesboro, NC to Rev. Luther Lee Chambers and Martha Lucille Chambers.

Pastor Margaret was a graduate of Lee College and Regent University and was an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God. She served as co-pastor along with her husband at New Beginnings Church. In addition, she served for many years as a teacher and School Administrator of the school she founded.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Surviving family includes husband, Sam Kirk; sons, Samuel J. Kirk III and his wife, Josephine, Gabriel Lee Kirk; daughter, Sara Kirk Davis and her husband, Will; mother, Martha Lucille Chambers; sister, Karen Adams and her husband, Terry of Morganton, NC; grandchildren, Anna, Samuel, Violet, Devon, Wyatt, and Simon; and by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 5-7:30 p.m. at New Beginnings Church, 492 Williams Rd., Columbus, OH 43207.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at New Beginnings Church. Pastor Sara Kirk Davis officiating.

Interment to follow at Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Beginnings Christian School, 492 Williams Rd., Columbus, OH 43207.
