Margaret L. Benjamin, 86, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016 in Columbus, OH. She was born on March 24, 1930 in Columbus to Brown Floyd and Julia Taylor.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Benjamin; siblings, Edna, Dot, Regina and James "Bud"; and great great-grandson, Kaiden.
She is survived by her children, Lucinda (Harry) Deardorff, Barbara L. Hodge and Patricia Ann Weber; grandchildren, Tonya (Steve) Crumley, Brett M. Deardorff, Obie Southward, Donnie Southward and Angie Southward; many great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild, Amelia.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 1:00pm also at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel preceded by one hour of visitation from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Rd. Columbus, OH 43215 in Margaret's honor.
