Margaret Aliese Prohaska (Maggie) #forever 41, passed away July 28, 2020 after a lengthy illness. Maggie was born December 4th, 1978 to parents Jim Prohaska and Joan Kraner. She attended school in Grandview and graduated with the class of 1997. Maggie most recently was an employee of Faith Mission Health Center as a Medical Receptionist. Maggie received a Medical Assistant Certification and worked at the clinic on Grant Ave funded by Luthern Social Services. Maggie was patient and kind to every client that visited the Health Center, and because of the way she treated those clients, she was given a Spirit of Excellence Award in October of 2019. Maggie will be missed by her family and friends for her caring nature and generous heart. She is survived by her father, James Prohaska, mother, Joan Kraner, daughter Madison Bolin, 5 uncles and 2 aunts from the Mikusa family, 3 aunts from the Prohaska family, although Maggie had many cherished friends, Mollie Tucker, Lauren Gillian, Lisa Zellers, Lesley Wood, and many friends of her 12 step support group have been very supportive throughout her life. A tribute to Maggie's life will be at Newcomer Funeral Home in Grove City, Aug 9th from 1 to 4pm. An open forum for tributes, stories and prayers will be from 2:30-3:30. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories of how Maggie touched their life. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations via GoFundMe link below or a donation to the Grant Ave Family Shelter in Maggie's name.
