Margaret Young, 95, of Reynoldsburg, formerly of Dayton passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Wexner Heritage House.
She was born July 15, 1918 in Fayetteville, TN, daughter of the late John and Isabell Carter Thomas.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Susie Fox; brothers, Walter and Floyd; sisters, Annie Ruth, Louise and Jane.
She is survived by her son, Anwar (Peggie) Madinah; daughters, Jonnie Thomas and Loretta E. Smith; grandchildren, Dona Smith, Shawn (Caroline) Smith, Dwayne Smith, Monique (David) Hyde, Ingrid Eddins, Eloise (Dorian) Archer, Jerome (Lana) Fox Jr., Sharon (Jonathan) Jones and an extended host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, January 10, 2014 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM.
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
