Margie "Betsy" Faryman

Margie Elizabeth “Betsy” Faryman, 74, of Columbus, passed away August 19th, 2025. Surrounded by love while listening to Dean Martin.

Betsy was born July 2nd, 1951, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Arthur and Nancy (Owsley) Parker. She enjoyed Music and loved to spend her days drinking coffee and playing her piano. Betsy was the epitome of God’s grace and was loved by everyone who knew her. Family was everything to her, and the love she had for them always poured out of her – a true matriarch. Betsy was most commonly known as “Nan” not only by her Family, but also by everyone she came into contact with.

Nan will be deeply missed by her Husband, Clarence “Donny” Faryman of 57 years, her children Tara & Ray Hazlett, Nicky Faryman, Tommy (Misty) Faryman, Grandchildren Krista (James) Rumley, Kara (Matthew) Lambert, Larry (Nina) Peterman, Cheyanne (Nash) Lambo, Sapphira Peterman, Victoria (Stone) Faryman, Devon Faryman and Donavon (Julia) Faryman, along with her Bonus Grandchildren Jazmin Peterman, Quentin Peterman and Donald Hazlett and great-grandchildren, Stone, Alana, Adaline, Kaiden, Blair, and Grayson.

Betsy was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Parker, and her mother, Nancy Parker.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1:00pm.
