Maria B. Bailey 88 of Columbus passed peacefully on May 5, 2015. She was born June 6, 1926 in Stanislaw, Ukraine to Nicholas & Malanka Kuzmyn who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband of 50+ years Henry Bailey JR. She is survived by 2 daughters Linda (Terry Rasor) Bailey and Jeannie (Michael "Jay" Gloeckner) Bailey; 3 grandchildren- Angela (Daniel Adkins) Magora, Nicholas (Rebecca) Bailey, and Michael H. Magora.
Maria met Henry after WWII in Germany where he was an MP in the US Army. Maria was a proud citizen of the USA. She loved being with family & friends.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:00AM Saturday May 9, 2015 at Saint John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic Church 5858 Cleveland Ave. Columbus, OH 43231 where a Mass Service will be held at 10:AM by Rev. Robert Stash, burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery Lewis Center, OH. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel.
