Marianthi K. Hackmann

Marianthi K. Hackmann, 73, of Columbus, passed away on May 1, 2026. She was born in Thessaloniki, Greece on May 14, 1952 to the late Dimitrios and Stella (Velika) Kayiopoulos.

Those left to cherish memories of Marianthi include sister, Evangelia Tsekretsidis; nephew, Harilaos Tsekretsidis (Sarah); nieces, Parthena Weaver (David), Stelliani Ciullo(Anthony), Dimitra Tsekretsidis; great nephews Leonidas and Andreas Tsekretsidis, Ahileas Weaver; great nieces Aikaterini weaver, Evangelia and Alexis Ciullo; and other dear friends.

Along with her parents, Marianthi was preceded in death by great nephew Anastasios Weaver.

Marianthi worked as a licensed beautician for many years at the Salon in Lazarus in downtown Columbus. When she wasn’t working, Marianthi loved to design and sew her own clothing, and paint.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 4pm to 6pm, Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions – Southwest, 3393 Broadway, Grove City 43123. A service to honor her life will be held at 6pm, Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Ronald McDonald House, 711 E. Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43205.
