Maridale "Mari" Triplett, born Ventola, was a beloved figure who touched the hearts of many. She was born on November 28, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio, and peacefully passed away on December 22, 2025, after a brave battle following pancreatic cancer surgery. For six weeks, she showed incredible strength as she received care, and ultimately, God welcomed her into His Kingdom.

Mari was known for her vibrant personality. She was very friendly and loved people and animals alike. Mari had a unique talent for the eye roll, often adding a bit of humor to any situation. A true spitfire, she had the biggest heart, and her feisty and outspoken nature made her a joy to be around. She had a special love for her family, and her grandkids brought a sparkle to her eyes that was unforgettable.

Among her many interests, Mari cherished her time at the casino, enjoyed the holidays, and found delight in baking. She was particularly remembered for her delicious apple and pumpkin pies, a testament to her love of bringing joy through food. Her dogs held a special place in her heart as well, symbolizing her soft spot for all creatures.

Mari is survived by her loving husband, Jack R. Triplett, with whom she created a beautiful life over 39 years. She leaves behind her sons, Robert (Kim) Wheaton and Scott (Kari) Wheaton, as well as stepchildren Amy Stumbo, Jack (Christy) Triplett, Jr., Craig Triplett, and Sahara Williams. Her grandchildren, Mckenna, Kaylee, and Jake Wheaton, and Sean Stumbo, alongside step-grandchildren Joey Williams and Hanah, will always cherish her memory. Mari is also survived by her sister, Patty (Mike) Williams, and brothers, Ron Ventola and Chuck (Annette) Ventola, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was blessed with special friends, Scott and Daphne Collins and Lee Froehle, who enriched her life greatly.

Mari is preceded in death by her father, Robert Saverio Ventola, mother, Betty Jane Biggs, her daughter, Holly, and her sister Nancy. She will be warmly greeted by her cherished dog, Kenlee, in the next life.

Maridale Triplett will be remembered for her radiant spirit, her love for those around her, and the indelible mark she left on the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers please donate to your local animal shelter or the American Cancer Society in Mari's memory. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
