Marilyn Hyde Karst, 93, of Ostrander, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at her residence.
She was born March 23, 1922 in Piqua.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, George and daughter, Kitty both of whom she missed very much.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann; son George (Debbie); brother, Jack (Irene) Hyde; grandchildren, Natalie (Vince), Mark (Jill), Cherie (John), Chris (Maureen), Adam, Kristy, Aaron (Stephanie); great grandchildren and other loving family and friends.
Marilyn was vibrant and creative with a passion for her family, her gardens, her cats, chickens, art, music, radio and the outdoors.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Marilyn was a caring, fun loving soul who had a great love for her family.
She enjoyed the outdoors and art.
Her legacy will carry on through her hand painted murals on the barn and her memory will carry on through her piano music.
She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have met her.
