Marilyn J. Mcquiniff

June 20, 1934 — August 2, 2017

Marilyn Joan McQuiniff, age 83, of Clarksburg, died Wednesday morning, August 2, 2017 at Westmoreland Place of Chillicothe. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on June 20, 1934, the daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Martin) Wills.

She married Jess H. McQuiniff Sr., who preceded her in death January 8, 2011.

Marilyn is survived by daughter, Linda (Larry) Cochenour; sons, David (Partner Donna) Justice, Jess H. (Judy) McQuiniff Jr., Harry J. (Angie) McQuiniff and Thomas W. (Carol) McQuiniff, all of Clarksburg; grandchildren, Jillian Short, Jon (Leslie) Dreitzler, Jason (partner Kelsey) Cochenour, Jeff (partner Lauren) Cochenour, Josh (Kristen) McQuiniff, James (Brittany) McQuiniff, Jessica (Cory) Engel, Harry and Bonnie McQuiniff, Alexandra and Leigha McQuiniff, Jeffrey Shaffer, Nicole and Breanna Miles; great-grandchildren, Breanna, Brooke and Nathan Dreitzler, Brenna McQuiniff, Colt McQuiniff, Sawyer Cochenour, Zoey Shaffer and Corlee Engel; sisters-in-law, Hilda Moody and Helen June Starr.

She was preceded in death by brother, Thomas Wills and sister, Helen Seely.

Marilyn had worked as Activity Director and CNA at Walnut Manor Nursing Home, and was a bus driver for Adena Schools. She was co-owner of the Williamsport Trade and Auction House. Marilyn enjoyed her many auction friends she had made over the years.

Some of her favorite memories were her vacations to the Great Smoky Mountains with her children and extended family.

A heart felt thank you to Heartland Nursing Home for their excellent care. A very special thank you to the Westmoreland Place Nursing Home for the help and care given by their very compassionate staff, along with Heartland Hospice.

In accordance with her wishes, a graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 19th at Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort, OH. Pastor Dan Bennett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Austin Methodist Church, Frankfort, OH.
