Marilyn W. Polihronopolos, 81, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017, in Worthington, Ohio.
Marilyn was born on February 28, 1936, in Fostoria, OH to William and Cora (Hade) Beers.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Angelo Polihronopolos and brother, William Beers, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Chris E. Waugh; step-sons, Stefan Polihronopolos and Terry (Connie)Polihronopolos; cousin, Beverly (Hade )Dalton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marilyn ran the Neurophysiological Chemistry Lab at OSU where she not only supervised graduate and medical students from all over the world, but also welcomed them into her home.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 10:30am, at Sunrise of Worthington, 6525 N. High St., Worthington, Ohio 43085. Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, Columbus NE Chapel is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wexner Medical Center, Brain and Spine Care Fund in Marilyn's honor.
