Marilyn Winters, lovingly known to all as Nana, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, at the age of 87, in Dublin, Ohio. Born on April 17, 1938, in Newark, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of William and Janice Myers. Marilyn lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and faith. Being a Nana was her greatest joy and proudest title. She would have done anything for the people she loved, always putting others before herself, and her warm heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Marilyn graduated from Newark High School and continued her education at Miami University, where she was a member and president of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. A lifelong believer in the power of learning, she devoted her career to teaching Latin at Northland High School. Her passion for language, education, and her students never faded, and she took great pride in helping young people grow and succeed. Her faith and devotion to her church were central to her life and provided her with strength, purpose, and a deep sense of community.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, William J. Winters; her sons, Matthew and Mark T. Winters; and her sister, Cheryl Lentz (Fred).

Marilyn is survived by her sister, Karen Codlin; her daughter, Laura Kravitz (Brett); and her grandchildren, Mark (Genevieve), Mitchell, Gia, and Tyler Winters; Amber Winters-Vu (Mike); and Jake, Ryan, and Sarah Kravitz; along with her great grandson, Ethan Winters-Vu. Her family meant everything to her, and she loved each of them deeply, finding endless pride and joy in their lives.
