Marilynn L. Marsh, 91, passed away on June 21, 2026. She was born on March 15, 1935 in Tacoma Park, MD.
Marilynn grew up in Galion, OH on a small farm. She attended Mt. Vernon Seventh Day Adventist Academy. Marilynn went to Emmanuel Missionary College in Berrien Springs, MI where she met Don Marsh who she married in 1957. After living briefly in Detroit, MI then Battle Creek, MI and Akron, OH they settled in Toledo, OH. She worked as a bookkeeper and office manager for various companies ending her career at Inshield Die and Stamping. Marilynn was also a dedicated church member of the Toledo First Seventh Day Adventist Church where she served as the Treasurer for many years. She was also a member of the social committee where she assisted with many meals for church functions. Marilynn held her church family very close to her heart. She treasured her family and cherished the time she spent being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Marsh, parents, William and Geraldine Guthrie, sister Polly Guthrie.
Surviving family includes son, Brad (Lori) Marsh, daughter, Karen (Rob) Conkle, grandchildren, Troy (Ashley) Marsh, Adam (Anne) Marsh, Landan Conkle, Taylor (Trevor) Caudill, Lisa (Matt) Montalvo, Garritt (Alesha Blake) Conkle, Dakota (Karsyn Routh) Conkle, Chase Conkle, great-grandchildren, Kaiden Montalvo, Blaine Marsh, Gemma Montalvo, Jace Marsh, Ariana Marsh, Iliana Montalvo, Avery Marsh, Carter Caudill, Mila Montalvo, Beckham Caudill and Cohen Caudill.
Visitation will held from 4-7pm, Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614.
A funeral service will begin at 11am, Friday, June 26, 2026 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, OH.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the ALS Association or Toledo First Seventh Day Adventist School - Worthy Student Fund.
