Mario Javier Simpson was born January 12, 1964 in Cristobal Canal Zone, Republic of Panama to the late Frances Caroline Mathews Simpson and Raymond Record Simpson. Mario departed this life at 9:44 pm on February 5, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Mario was a graduate of Rainbow City High School in Rainbow City Canal Zone, Republic of Panama. Mario moved to Bronx, New York in 1992.
He moved to Ohio in 1995. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Guillermo, Donaldo, and Julio. Mario leaves to cherish his memories: his brothers Jaime L. Simpson Sr (Tanya), Cecilio Simpson (Belkis), Juan Simpson (Gina) , Alfredo Simpson (Marge), Ramon Simpson, his sisters: Patricia Wilson (Nelson), Marcia Clarke (Clarence), Romelia Mosley (Victor) and Verna Davis, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, a host of friends and the staff at Guiding Light.
His home going service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:00 am at Praise Temple Church of God in Christ at 2888 Ontario Street Columbus 43224.
