Mario Christopher Yoli, age 68, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, surrounded by love and family. Mario was born on December 26, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, to Anthony Yoli and Nora Yoli (Carson). He attended South High School, where he was a proud Bulldog.
Mario was married to Susan Seagle for 20 years, and together they welcomed two children, Mario Christopher Yoli II and Monica Yoli. He also lovingly raised Susan’s two children from a previous marriage, Tabitha Clark-Piper and Danny Piper, treating them as his own.
A dedicated and hardworking man, Mario proudly served his country in the Army National Guard for 22 years. Following his military service, he spent 25+ years as a truck driver, retiring in January 2021.
Mario had a deep love for the outdoors and for life’s simple pleasures. Whether he was heading to the flea market in search of hidden treasures, attending family celebrations, spending time at the shooting range, or enjoying hiking, biking, and kayaking, he found joy in every moment.The heart of his family, Mario was the patriarch who took great pride in his loved ones and the traditions he helped build.
His strength, love, and devotion will live on through those he leaves behind.Mario is survived by his son, Mario Christopher Yoli II; his daughter, Monica Yoli; his sister, Rhonda Yoli-Atchison; his brother, Anthony Yoli; his stepdaughter, Tabitha Clark-Piper; his niece and goddaughter, Carey Jean Scott; his close friend, Beth Knox; and many other loving family members and friends.Mario will be missed tremendously and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him
