Marjorie Bratcher, 87 of Blacklick, OH, formerly of Wharton, TX, passed away at Sunrise of Gahanna on September 15, 2016. Born on March 18, 1929 to the late George and Mariah (Sanders) Owens in Wharton, TX. Survived by children Anita Bratcher (Lynn Calloway) and Dewey Charles Bratcher, III (Anabel), grandchildren Spencer, Jason, Adan, Kristerfer, Natalia, Torrey and Maya, one great granddaughter, siblings Roy Owens, Genie Owens (Hank), Margaret Ann Owens McClendon and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Dewey Charles Bratcher, Jr., daughter Nakomis Bratcher, brothers Walter, Donald and Ralph Owens.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
Service will be held at 1:30pm with Rev. Ernest Calloway, II.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Alzheimer's Association Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.
