Mark A. Grantz, age 52 of Columbus, passed away on October 10, 2020. He was born on April 13, 1968 to Donald E. and Maria (Sinzig) Grantz in Dover, DE.
Mark loved his family and friends, cooking and eating, mystery and suspense novels and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was an incredibly hard worker with a dry sense of humor and generous spirit.
Along with his parents, Mark is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Lisa (Rutledge) Grantz, children Amy (Paul) Wright and Robert Alan Lee, grandchildren Keegan Alexander and Symantha Jo, Landon, Alyssa, Madison and Bindi, siblings Donna (Lee) Zuiderweg and Greg Grantz, niece Kenzie Grantz and nephew Tyler Grantz, many aunts, uncles and cousins in Germany, mother-in-law Ann Rutledge, brothers-in-law Lynn (Lynn) Rutledge and Randy (Diane) Rutledge.
Preceded in death by father-in-law Jimmy Rutledge.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 3:00pm until time of service at 4:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Arthritis Foundation, 3740 Ridge Mill Dr., Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
